NCN will be hosting an Off-Grid Solar Ecosystem Tour on the sidelines of the Global Off-Grid Solar Forum and Expo (#GOGSFE).

This exclusive pre-forum tour on 7 October is designed to provide investors and strategic partners with an in-depth look at NCN members who are leading the way in off-grid energy solutions in Kenya.

We’ll visit:

🔋 Biolite – Who are designing, manufacturing, and distributing cutting-edge solar products. We’ll see their solar home systems, kilowatt-scale solar generators, inflatable solar lanterns, and learn about their distribution models.

❄️ Koolboks – Who are providing affordable long-term cooling solutions backed by new insulation, ice battery, and solar power technologies.

🌞 Sunculture – Who are providing off-grid communities with integrated solar solutions for water, irrigation, lighting, and mobile charging. We’ll visit their demo farm to see their system in action and learn about their distribution models across Africa.

⚡ Africa Minigrid Developers Association – Who are advocating for decentralised utility companies and minigrid developers across Africa. They’ll share insights on improving the policies and financial landscape for minigrid projects.

🚌 Transport by BasiGo – Leading the way in clean, electric public transport in in Kenya and Rwanda. We’ll visit their fleet management and charging stations, and discuss the opportunities and challenges of making public electric transport fully off-grid.
