In 2024, The Climate Network (TCN) saw continued growth and solidified its role as a leading platform for climate professionals across Africa. Our network expanded significantly, reflecting a growing demand for collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and climate solutions. 

Here’s a quick snapshot of the strides we made together:

• 1,750 active members by end of 2024
• Over 3,000 applications received, 60% acceptance rate
• Gender balance: 51% women
•  50% in senior leadership positions

📌 Stronger Connections

• 20 events held across Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and South Africa
• 1520 participants
• Nearly 300 facilitated introductions through our network

📌 Greater Reach and Collaboration

• 300,000+ reached via LinkedIn
• TCN Members Platform launched to connect members across borders
• Major milestones in policy engagement and climate leadership
• Hosted the first-ever TCN Climate Awards
